My name is ToyeToye, and I founded Mrs. Kakes Cupkakery in 2021. However, my journey into baking truly began during the pandemic in 2019, when the world slowed down and families were forced to stay indoors. My family and I used that time to reconnect with what mattered most—each other. The pandemic brought many changes, but despite the uncertainties, we found comfort through music, love, laughter, and good food. Baking became more than just a way to pass the time; it became a source of comfort, joy, and togetherness in our home.

What started as a childhood dream of becoming a baker quickly transformed into a true passion—one that I discovered I couldn’t live without. Every recipe reflects that journey: warmth, creativity, and the belief that desserts should make people feel happy and at home.
